Job Duties <\/p>\n

Drive safety mindset through participation in site programs including field level risk assessments (FLRA) and safety peer observations (PPP)
\nWork with a multi-disciplinary Cross Functional Team (CFT) to support mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and electrical replacements and upgrades
\nScope, design and engineer construction work packages, applying both company practices and industry codes & standards
\nCollaborate with designers to create engineering documentation such as piping isometrics, Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID\u2019s), and mechanical detail drawings
\nAssemble engineering documentation into design packages for repairs (RIK) and improvements (MPM), including process piping, static equipment and I&E infrastructure
\nLead various projects with emphasis on development and implementation of solutions to improve safety, reliability or compliance
\nResearch and evaluate new technologies and applications; recommend improvement opportunities based on the evaluation and gain buy-in or consensus from stakeholders. <\/p>\n

Experience <\/p>\n

5+ years of relatable work experience within a petrochemical refinery, operating plant or other industrial manufacturing environment is required <\/p>\n

Education Level <\/p>\n

A minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree (B.A.Sc. \/ B.Eng.) from a CEAB accredited institution in a relevant Engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical) is required. Other Engineering disciplines will be considered based on applicable experience.
\nEng. designation in the Province of Ontario through the PEO (or eligible to transfer). <\/p>\n
