Tenneco Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/p>\n

Responsible for programming Brown & Sharpe CMM\u2019s using PC DMIS software and other quality related tasks. Provide layout support to plant to meet production and customer needs. Assist Quality and Engineering Department\u2019s with problem investigation & resolution.<\/p>\n

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n

Perform layouts as needed to meet production and customer needs.
\nMaintain CMM and lab equipment.
\nInterpret blueprint and model-based definitions.
\nConduct CMM inspection on product and gauges.
\nPrepare CMM layout reports.
\nMaintain certification\/calibration status on all in-house gauges.
\nAct as a liaison with engineering and production for issues requiring layout inspection and problem investigation & resolution.
\nMust maintain professionalism in dealings with internal\/external customers and suppliers.
\nMust be willing to do minimal travel as required.
\nMust possess good oral and written skills.
\nMust be proficient in the reading of part drawings.
\nDevelop written gage instructions and train production employees in gage use.
\nMust be proficient in the use of all metrology equipment used at this facility.
\nMust be willing to continually learn new concepts and techniques necessary to support continuously changing demands of this job.
\nPerform job duties in line with company policies, procedures and work instructions pertaining to IATF 16949 requirements.
\nPerform job functions in compliance with relevant environmental, health and safety regulations.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

CMM certification or Minimum of 5 years in CMM programming and inspection
\nUnderstanding of GD&T (ANSI-Y 14.5) as well as math data & blueprints
\nExcellent organizational, communication and time management skills
\nBasic MS Office skills
\nAbility to handle fast paced work flow
\nMathematical skill level at Trigonometry or higher
\nAbility to work well with others.
\nSelf-starter with the ability to work with minimal directions.
\nMust be able to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.<\/p>\n
