D.r. Horton Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/p>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Ability to perform all tasks of the Escrow Receptionist
\nPrepare and send opening letters and \u201cthank you\u201d acknowledgements to all parties
\nOrder title commitments and distribute to all parties
\nOrder and update payoff\/assumption statements as requested
\nPrepare receipts for all funds received from Customers and\/or lenders
\nOrder wire transfers and provide wiring instruction
\nClear title requirements
\nPrepare loan packages for return to lender
\nPrepare simple cash and seller carryback pre-audits
\nAssist branch manager with administrative tasks as requested
\nOpen refinance orders
\nReceive builder report, order survey, contact the lender, obtain hazard insurance, enter basic order information on automated system, obtain HOA information, schedule and coordinate times for closings
\nPrepare copies for disbursement and closing transmittals
\nAssist Closer\/Escrow Officer with final policy disbursement, as directed
\nMonitor termite inspection requests and other required inspection information
\nOn a limited basis, answer Customers\u2019 questions and\/or telephone calls concerning the administrative process of the parties\u2019 transactions; and answer real estate agents\u2019 questions and\/or telephone calls concerning the status of their pending files
\nCancel files according to office procedure
\nIn addition to the above duties, the escrow assistant may have post closing job responsibilities:
\nAssist with pre-closing files: Assure that all information is accurate and matches the original Purchase Contract, e.g. zip codes, property address, spelling of names, marital status of buyers, reading Surveys for encroachments, if any, etc.
\nPrepare and ship closing packages: Assure that each package is complete and properly signed by all parties.
\nPrepare documents for recording in different Counties: Assure that documents sent for recording fulfill not only the Recording Regulations, but also the Lenders’.\u00a0
\nPrepare both Loan and Owners’ Policies and mail them out
\nPrepare endorsements to Policy, when applicable.
\nResponsible for whereabouts of closing files
\nAssist Branch Manager with administrative tasks.
\nKeep checkbook for Fee account and maintain control of the mailing stamps machine.
\nCustomer Service – Take calls from lenders, buyers, attorneys, realtors, insurance companies and others are handled on a daily basis.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
