This position requires specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of the office and project quality activities. With authoritative decision-making this role\u2019s recommendations have a significant impact on business line quality policies and programs.<\/p>\n

This role may supervise the work of assigned quality personnel as needed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Implement and supervise technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0requirements), and help to maintain harmonious client relations
\n\u2022 Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 business\u00a0 line personnel
\n\u2022 Serve as project Quality Manager on small to medium sized projects, if necessary
\n\u2022 Maintain relationships with key internal and external Clients and external Quality community
\n\u2022 Typically manage Quality Control Inspection personnel and provide an environment for the development and\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0opportunities, and timely performance feedback
\n\u2022 Other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

Basic Job Requirements<\/p>\n

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (4) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
\n\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
\n\u2022 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
\n\u2022 Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state\/province, and federal\/national statutes and guidelines
\n\u2022 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proof of US Citizenship Required
\n\u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain Q clearance if required

\n\u2022 Certified AWS Welding inspector
\n\u2022 Experience converting engineering requirements in drawings and specification into inspections and testing requirements for engineering approval<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Experience working to requirements of ASME NQA-1-2019
\n\u2022 Five (5) years of related Quality\/project experience
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
