Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Completes scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting.
\nDevelop project timelines and milestones; perform scheduling and forecasting.
\nCoordinates engineering work between operating Divisions and General Construction.
\nMay direct the activities of certain employees or crews on job assignments requiring engineering expertise.
\nInspects and monitors the work of contractors to assure compliance with specifications and plans.
\nMakes engineering studies and analysis.
\nRecommends and approves changes in construction drawings or specifications.
\nSolve simple and complex engineering construction problems.
\nAudits work under construction for current construction standards, rules, and regulations.
\nLay out construction plans.
\nSupervises inspectors, other field engineers, field engineering technicians, senior field engineering technicians and other similar field personnel.
\nSupport construction supervisor and inspector by providing technical and engineering expertise in the construction of the project.
\nDOT-Operations\/Maintenance AND Emergency.
\nMay be required to perform duties as an assistant supervisor when size of a project requires.
\nMay create contract work authorization (CWA) in SRM.
\nTrack and monitor financial performance of projects\/programs against forecasts.
\nAble to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management OR 2 years of experience and\u00a0supplemental education* \/\u00a0EIT

\nAbility to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights, weekends, and\/or overtime (scheduled or ad hoc)<\/p>\n
