The Senior Data Scientist at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company\u00a0 will build machine learning models to increase efficiency of internal operations.<\/p>\n

Develop solutions, mathematical models, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and robust analytics to support analytic insights and visualization of complex data sets for productization and monetization. Work with business to identify key pain points and solve them using data science.<\/p>\n

Apply and integrate advanced statistical, mathematical, data mining, predictive modeling, and business analysis skills and techniques to discover and identify new insights, predict and prescribe outcomes, advise on turning new insights into actionable opportunities and outcomes. Provide tracking and measurement of results. Utilize Hive and Spark in developing queries.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n

(3) Tableau or PowerBI;<\/p>\n

(4) writing SQL queries;<\/p>\n

(5) machine learning;<\/p>\n

(6) distributed databases and query languages including Hive and Spark;<\/p>\n

(7) statistical analysis tools including R and SAS; and<\/p>\n

(8) identifying data requirements for analytical needs.<\/p>\n
