CarMax Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/p>\n

Under general supervision, responsible for assisting technicians with determining the correct part number(s), locating parts, receiving parts into inventory, distributing parts to customers (both internal and external), proper documentation of all transactions, returning incorrect\/defective parts to vendors, inventory control and maintenance, OSHA\/EPA compliance, and\u00a0 exceptional customer service.<\/p>\n

Principle Duties And Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Provide customers (both internal and external) with the correct part(s) for their vehicle.
\nLocate and receive shipment of parts.
\nReceive parts into inventory.
\nMaintain the parts inventory for neatness, accuracy (cycle counts), and correct stocking levels.
\nControl service supplies to minimize waste.
\nAllocate parts in the AutoMation system.
\nReturn incorrect and\/or defective parts to parts vendor or manufacturer.
\nMeet all requirements of OSHA\/EPA guidelines.
\nProvide exceptional customer service at all times.
\nComplete duties as assigned by Leads and Managers.<\/p>\n

Accountable to Associate 1 Competency Model
\nComplete Supply Associate Workstation Certifications
\nRead, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
\nDemonstrate intermediate computer skills , including \u00a0spreadsheet knowledge.
\nWork with and through other associates and vendors
\nPerform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment.
\nLift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
\nUnderstand numeric filing system.
\nSpeak and listen effectively in dealing with customers\/associates, both in person and over the phone.
\nComplete CarMax provided training including, but not limited to new associate training – Operations, KRONOS training, and parts process specific training<\/p>\n
