This job is responsible for the evaluation and acquisition of land and land rights (fee, lease, and easement) for power plant, service center, substation, transmission, pipeline right of way and other company real estate assets. Employees in this job provide direction to internal personnel and external stakeholders in order to meet established objectives.<\/p>\n

Job Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conducts negotiations with land owners to obtain all necessary property rights are secured in sufficient time\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0to prevent delay of projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Analyzes real estate processes and makes enhancements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develops alternative work methods to minimize or reduce costs
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Performs asset protection activities related to processing of subordinations, easement releases, enforcement\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 against encroachments on company easements or owned properties
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Performs construction liaison activities with landowners for Transmission, Construction or other groups as\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 required.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Grants easements over company properties or within company acquired easements to third parties
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manages annual operating and maintenance budgets and capital budgets for specific projects
