Providing 1st\/2nd line technical support and problem analysis\/rectification.
\nComplete Monthend and quarterly Savsys process in the AS400\/BPCS environment (End of Month weekend work on a rota).
\nProviding support for office IT equipment and software by problem solving and user training enabling productive\/efficient practices.
\nUpgrade hardware\/software to meet user requirements to increase productivity and maintain stability.
\nEnsure communication stability\/performance of the LAN\/WAN by monitoring and solving issues.
\nFollow established procedures of backup routines and system monitoring to ensure data integrity, security (Patching tasks \/ Monthly Server Patching) and accuracy.
\nEnsure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved upon to enable smooth operations, sustain a knowledge base, self-reliance and an accruable history database.
\nPlan and perform appropriate preventative maintenance by ensuring regular contractual maintenance on all essential equipment to ensure minimum downtime.
\nEnsuring maximum availability of all computer systems throughout the site, including hardware, networks, IT security and telecommunications.
\nProvide support for mobile peripheral devices.
\nEnsure smooth operation\/support of the IT operations by monitoring and resolving issues.
\nSustain stock of IT consumables as required to maintain daily operations of all IT equipment.
\nProject work based on long range planning tasks.
\nComplete end user IT kit moves, cabling desks in floor ports and Comms cabinet.<\/p>\n
