About the Role:<\/p>\n

We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join our team in Derby. As part of our infrastructure services team, you will be involved in designing, deploying, migrating, managing, and changing infrastructure services across various technologies. This includes servers, storage, mainframe, networks, AD, SAP Basis, public and private clouds, data center technologies, containers, middleware, databases, modern device management, intelligent collaboration, IT asset management services, field services, and technical service desk operations.<\/p>\n

Essential Job Functions:<\/p>\n

Infrastructure Management: Assist in the management and operation of infrastructure services, providing support to the team.
\nStrategy Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure strategies and projects.
\nSystem Performance: Help maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.
\nCollaboration: Collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and support design and\/or implementation.
\nBest Practices: Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within infrastructure services.
\nDocumentation: Assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
\nResource Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for infrastructure tasks and projects.
\nCommunication: Provide effective communication to support and collaborate with team members.<\/p>\n

Basic Qualifications:<\/p>\n

Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
\nCertifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, are a plus.<\/p>\n
