RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n

Responsible for line evaluations and ensuring capabilities to process BODYARMOR products. Provide technical support\u00a0for product qualifications\u00a0on new product launches and reformulations.
\nResponsibilities will include creating, maintaining, and updating process specifications and test protocols and reports.
\nReview and evaluate technology developments in beverage processing and associated packaging formats.
\nRecommend improvements to BA\u2019s manufacturing to enable innovation, improve quality and\/or throughput.
\nConduct technical feasibility assessments of new and existing co-manufacturers to support ongoing product development and quality improvements.
\nIdentify and recommend capital equipment investment as needed to cover project needs.
\nCollaborate with New Product Development, Operations and Quality functions and our manufacturing network by providing technical leadership and process development expertise.
\nPlan and conduct plant trials to help validate or improve current processes.
\nSupport commercial startups of new products or renovations.
\nDocument technical process specifications to ensure product safety and quality.
\nCreate plans and lead scale up trials performed at co-packers; coordinate with co-pack facilities, OEMs, and vendors, along with BODYARMOR HQ. \u00a0Lead the documentation and reporting of the results.
\nProvide engineering support for co-packers: troubleshooting, operational improvement, and line efficiency improvement etc.
\nHave knowledge across primary packaging materials including PET, PP, PE, aluminum, steel, and glass.
\nMaintain a high level of awareness of current and emerging technologies in beverage process development with respect to equipment, engineering, design, regulatory requirements and make recommendations on their application to improve profitability of operations.
\nConcurrently manage and support multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion of activities to meet project milestones.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree required, specialization in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or food engineering is required.
\nMust have 5+ years of experience in\u00a0manufacturing and beverage process design principles including a combination of batching, pasteurization, filling, bottling, conveyance, case packing, cartoning, and palletizing required.
\nExperience with hot fill, tunnel pasteurization, cold fill, retort, and aseptic packaging desired.
\nStrong technical depth in pasteurization and beverage thermal processing technologies.
\nExperience in technical leadership of projects through commercialization, scale up and launch.
\nAbility to write protocols and reports clearly and concisely and in a timely manner.
\nPosition requires substantial travel 50 \u2013 75%, travel by car and plane.
\nMust hold a valid driver\u2019s license and be able to drive long distances at times.
\nMotor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy.<\/p>\n
