We are seeking a highly skilled GCP data engineer with expertise in AlloyDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and GCP services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database engineering and a passion for developing robust and scalable data solutions. As a GCP Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients\u2019 database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Design, implement, and manage database solutions using AlloyDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and various GCP services.<\/li>\n
Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance tuning to support high-volume data processing.<\/li>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide database solutions that meet business needs.<\/li>\n
Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of database systems by implementing best practices for data management.<\/li>\n
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal system functionality.<\/li>\n
Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.<\/li>\n
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database engineering and cloud services, particularly within the GCP ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications and requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.<\/li>\n
I have proven experience as a database engineer with expertise in AlloyDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and GCP services.<\/li>\n
Strong understanding of database design principles, indexing, partitioning, and optimization techniques.<\/li>\n
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and database performance tuning.<\/li>\n
Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data integration across different platforms.<\/li>\n
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP),.<\/li>\n
Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.<\/li>\n
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Preferred Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.<\/p>\n
