What You’ll Do <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Perform development of high-performing, well-tested and thoughtfully architected software applications.<\/li>\n
• Ensures applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices.<\/li>\n
• Works with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions<\/li>\n
• Works closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient.<\/li>\n
• Provides DevOps thought leadership in delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of lululemon’s end users and how they are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach.<\/li>\n
• Collaborates with the engineering teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver on integration projects.<\/li>\n
• Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and security.<\/li>\n
• Designs for release and configuration management.<\/li>\n
• Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues.<\/li>\n
• 100% telecommuting permitted, candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S.<\/li>\n
• 40 hrs.\/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of work experience in the IT Industry.<\/li>\n
  • Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Microservices architecture patterns.<\/li>\n
  • Synchronous\/asynchronous processing and error handling patterns with Spring Boot and Java.<\/li>\n
  • Building web services and integrations with message driven architecture.<\/li>\n
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing web applications using Java\/J2EE frameworks like Spring Reactive, Spring Boot, Spring Data, or Struts.<\/li>\n
  • Supporting development, automated testing, infrastructure, and operations.<\/li>\n
  • Design and development of RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.<\/li>\n
  • Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:<\/li>\n
  • Working with streaming platforms (real-time data at massive scale) such as Confluent Kafka or equivalent platforms.<\/li>\n
  • Working with relational databases or NoSQL databases.<\/li>\n
  • Working with project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, MS Office, SharePoint and Smartsheet.<\/li>\n
