Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are seeking a SQL Software Engineer responsible for designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and implementing back-end Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL objects and SSIS packages used to process inbound and outbound transactions.<\/p>\n

Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Services, or similar) with 3+ years\u2019 experience; or 7+ years of relevant SQL programming experience.<\/li>\n
• Deep understanding of relational database design, development, and support (MS SQL Server T-SQL preferred)<\/li>\n
• Experience in complex database objects in T-SQL and\/or PLSQL<\/li>\n
• Desired Proficiencies<\/li>\n
• Java<\/li>\n
• Groovy<\/li>\n
• Drools rules engine<\/li>\n
• Cross format data mapping<\/li>\n
• Healthcare\/834 file processing\/X12<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Maintain existing stored procedures and systems.<\/li>\n
  • Design and develop new stored procedures and systems as part of the implementation of new business requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Develop detailed technical design specifications, which include file layouts, program functions and job flow.<\/li>\n
  • Implementing and testing database design and functionality, and tuning for performance<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all objects associated with a project.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure that new systems integrate into current batch cycles.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in 24×7 on-call rotation.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with training and technical support of others on staff.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the business unit(s) being supported.<\/li>\n
  • Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
