Our parent company, Treehouse Foods of Oak Brook, Illinois, is a food manufacturer servicing primarily the retail grocery and food service distribution channels, and is one of the largest private label food manufacturers in the United Kingdom.
We are currently looking for a Batch Operator to join our team who can excel in our fast-paced, team oriented environment. This is an opportunity to join a recognized and growing company within the food manufacturing industry, where you will have a direct impact on our ability to safely deliver quality products at a competitive cost. Key Responsibilities:
Measuring, weighing materials and ingredients from recipe card
Recording of lot number
Measuring weights – Tagging and staging for blending equipment
Operation (bin numbers, blenders, PLC controlled agitation and transfer, blanchers and soakers
Must ensure consistent and accurate measurement and blending to ensure continuous product supply to filling equipment
Sanitation, sanitary maintenance, troubleshooting
Quick thinking and responsive to surroundings, requirements, and domains
Requirements:
Post-secondary or equivalent experience required
3-5 years manufacturing related experience
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
Fluency in English both oral and written
