Join our passionate and collaborative problem solvers in Enterprise DevOps Services team to help advance our enterprise application DevOps process. You will work closely with the application teams to design and support automated, end-to-end, build-release-deploy process for delivering frequent, incremental application releases, ensuring quality and security. You will learn and leverage Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery/Deploy (CD), pipeline-as-code and infrastructure-as-code. You will develop reusable pipeline templates and infrastructure code and help us manage both DevOps process and tools. We succeed by helping our application teams succeed and learning and growing together while doing so.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve DevOps pipeline issues reported by application team in a timely manner – primary responsibility assumed on a rotational (weekly) basis, with the rest of the team supporting, as necessary.
  • Design and develop DevOps automation (pipeline templates, terraform, shell scripts)
  • Support DevOps tools deployed on-prem and cloud.
  • Evangelist for advancing Agile and DevOps methodologies and practices – you will not just *fix* build, release, deploy issues, you will also help application teams understand the “Why, What and How” of the problem and its resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related analytical field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with demonstrable software development (or) automation scripting experience from programming projects from school/college (or) contribution to Open-Source projects
  • 5+ years of experience with demonstrable exposure/experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with demonstrable experience working with source code control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Team Foundation Server) either through school (or) contribution to Open-Source projects.
  • 2+ years of experience with demonstrable exposure/experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) either via school or through self-learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing, implementing, and documenting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
  • Experience developing .NET applications.
  • Experience with Terraform, Power Shell, Linux scripting skills.
