IDEXX is looking for a new Scrum Master – Agile Specialist to join our ezyVet Data Engineering team! If you’re passionate about organisation, prioritisation and coordination, this could be the perfect role for you!

We are happy for this role to be based remotely from the USA or from one of our US offices.

But what is ezyVet you ask? ezyVet is a cloud based Veterinary Practice Management Software. We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress. We are a premium software product and a part IDEXX’s Veterinary offerings. Pets and tech, it’s a winning combo!

A bit more about the role, you will:

  • Our Scrum Master – Agile Specialist will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and facilitation of Agile methodologies within the ezyVet Data Engineering teams
  • Coordinate work delegation with the US, UK and New Zealand Data Development Managers
  • The Scrum Master is responsible for coaching and guiding the team in Agile practices, ensuring that the principles of Scrum are understood and implemented effectively
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective
  • Remove impediments to the team’s progress and ensure that the Agile process is being followed
  • Empower the team to continuously improve and innovate their processes
  • Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team
  • Ensure transparency and communication within the team and with stakeholders

So what are we looking for?

  • 2+ years experience in being a scrum master
  • Scrum certification or qualification preferred
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience in and confident in facilitating meetings and discussions
  • Understanding of how programming works
  • Passionate about efficiency and improvements
  • Eager to learn!

What you can expect from us:

  • Salary of $90,000 – $120,000
