Achieving Targets: You’ll be responsible for achieving financial and strategic targets for the Tableau business. This includes minimising attrition, maintaining high renewal rates, positioning multi-year renewals and upselling and cross-selling in collaboration with Account Executives.
Strategic Sales: This role involves some of our largest customers and complex deals. You must develop and complete renewal strategies to lead your book of business effectively in advance and reach mutually beneficial outcomes with customers. To do this you need to understand how Tableau fits into our customers’ overall data strategy.
Pipeline management: Tightly handle the renewal cycle as part of the 360 customer lifecycle, including selling against cancellations, assisting customers through the renewal cycle, and updating the CRM system according to documented processes.
Product Knowledge: You are expected to be knowledgeable about Tableau’s suite of products and pitch the value of these to customers. You must be able to position products according to use-case and speak to the value Tableau will bring to organisations.
Forecasting: Maintain an accurate rolling 90-day forecast of your territory and explain fluctuations in the pipeline.
Quoting and Pricing: You will have good business sense to negotiate and structure deals to simplify customer contracts. To that end, you will create, adjust and finalise quotes to ensure pricing, products and customer details are correct and in line with approved business policies and processes.
License Management: You will be an authority in our licensing models and explain these to customers. You will answer customer queries about license provisioning, troubleshooting and enablement.
Order Management: Ensure inbound customer purchase documents are correct and can be processed by the team.

Who you are…
Demonstrated experience in renewals, account management, sales and/or customer success is required. Previous software and/or technology experience is preferred.
Commercially Aware. Impeccable eye for business and a strong analytical attitude.
Excellent Communicator. Strong communication skills, with a customer service approach and an ability to effectively communicate Tableau’s value.
