Aetna is seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote Client Support Officer to join our dynamic team in San Diego, California. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on client satisfaction while ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service possible. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to their role, embodying a hardworking nature and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and online chat. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information regarding Aetna’s products and services.
- Problem Resolution: Utilize critical thinking skills to assess client issues and develop effective solutions. Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Account Management: Maintain and update client records using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Monitor account activity and communicate policy changes, service updates, or enhancements to clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to ensure a seamless client experience. Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving strategies for client support.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on Aetna’s products, services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and timely information. Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback on common client inquiries, service challenges, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports on client interactions and suggest improvements for processes and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations when handling client information and inquiries. Maintain confidentiality and security of client data at all times.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree or higher preferred; experience in a customer service or client support role may substitute for formal education.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a client support or customer service role, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems. Ability to navigate various software tools for client interaction effectively.
