The Business Development Manager will be a key contributor to the New Business Development (NBD) Team. This role will be responsible for collaborating & coordinating with NBD team to help drive critical initiatives, partner with the team to drive an effective communication plan and ensuring the smooth execution of key projects.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Partner with key team members to support the business with research, analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and improve decision-making.

Performance Analysis:
Monitor key performance metrics and provide recommendations for areas of improvement, growth opportunities, and risks.
Hands on participation with sales results, annual planning and forecasting processes.
Partner with analytics team to interpret complex data sets to tell stories. Develop an organized set of conclusions/ recommendations that can be digested by a broader audience.
Present findings and recommendations to the leadership team, guiding strategic discussions and decision-making.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion.
Relationship Management:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support/optimize innovation launches, merchandising standards and promotional strategies.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Coordinate communication across various internal teams and departments to ensure alignment and transparency.
Prepare reports, and communications to ensure clear and effective messaging across the organization.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, facilitating open dialogue and fostering a collaborative culture.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape related to Newell Brands’ product categories.
Leverage this knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Foster strong relationships and facilitate collaboration across various teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development.
Partner with NBD leadership team to prioritize initiatives and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience with 3+ years in planning, project management, or a similar role.
Basic understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and category management within the CPG industry.
Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate in a matrixed team environment with deadlines & deliverable dates shifting.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.
