Netflix seeks an experienced transactional lawyer to provide legal support for its Europe Middle East and Africa operations, with focus on UK/Ireland. The successful candidate will support the Netflix partnerships team (i.e. business development, product innovation, finance, partner marketing, network) in establishing strategic partnerships across a wide range of partners in the telecommunications, internet service providers, and consumer electronic spaces, and provide legal counseling with respect to a wide range of topics related to Netflix’s EMEA operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have 9+ years of broad-based international transactional experience, preferably with a focus on technology, telecommunications, and/or the media industry. This includes familiarity with common and civil law jurisdictions. In-house experience is preferred. Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex partnership arrangements, including outbound and inbound licensing agreements, distribution agreements, and marketing agreements. Experience with consumer protection and e-commerce laws is a plus. Fluency in English is required, and working knowledge of an additional EMEA language is desirable.
