This role is responsible for or the accurate and timely management of financial information for a portfolio of investments. This entails maintaining accurate records of all transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence
Maintain and reconcile investment records and transactions
Calculate and report investment returns and portfolio performance metrics such as Track Records with MOM and IRR calculations.
Prepare reports for clients, management, and regulatory bodies.
Participate in weekly group meetings. Present/escalate issues as necessary, provide updates on existing workflows and suggest ideas for process improvement/efficiencies.
Update daily P&L for various funds in subledger software (Geneva) using necessary tools such as Bloomberg terminals.
Complete and maintain custom asset level reporting at regular intervals. Including Loan modifications, Asset Exits, Watch List reporting, etc.
Reconcile investment holdings on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for various funds between KKR and 3rd party fund administrators.
Research and provide asset pricing support as necessary (Bloomberg). Ensuring accurate pricing data used in financial reporting. Produce and maintain watch lists to ensure operational procedures/policies are followed.

Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with teams, such as trading, operations, Fund Controllership and compliance, to ensure that all aspects of portfolio management are handled efficiently.
Reporting & Governance
Perform analysis/reporting for asset accrual function. Ensure assets are behaving as expected. Ensure proper treatment for non-accrual/non-amortization/PIK. Work with operations team to update/maintain proper treatment in subledger. Research and update discrepancies through to resolution.
Complete holdings reconciliations between several KKR data sources (sub-ledger and data warehouse). Ensure internal reporting provides a complete and accurate picture of holdings and pricing.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
Chartered Accountant/CPA
1-3 years of experience in similar role
Understanding of business processes for Finance function
Experience in preparing regular financial reports, including performance reports, cash flows, and balance sheets
Proficiency in financial reporting software and systems, such as Bloomberg, etc.
Ability to manage large amounts of data accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing portfolio investments and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
Ability to perform complex financial analysis and modeling
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
