Intercontinental Exchange Data Services (ICE Data Services) is expanding its global sales organization and looking for high caliber sales professionals to join its growing team. The main function of this role will be selling Connectivity services
The Connectivity Sales Executive is a sales hunter who targets the buyers of DMA, hosting, and connectivity solutions to participants in financial markets. The role comes with a remit to expand ICE’s Connectivity business in the Americas through new logo sales and expansion. Also, the Sales Executive will work with existing Account Managers and other IDS Sales Executives to identify opportunities for upsell of Connectivity solutions within the existing ICE Data Services account base.
The role holder is expected to be a content and technical expert in ICE Data Services’ Connectivity solutions and also have a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases and the real-time and low latency business in general (“Know Your Customer”). Client meetings, presentations, and preparation of RFP/RFI responses will all be an integral part of the role, as well as interacting with customers, internal business partners, and pre-sales on detailed aspects of the solution design.

Knowledge and Experience
Strong sales experience with a focus on financial markets (specifically real time data and trading) and ability to consistently exceed individual sales quota
Knowledge of trading ecosystem including, compliance, risk and post trade uses cases
Intimate knowledge of the systems which consume real time data and support institutional trading
Adept at the challenger sales model
Strong presentation skills
Competent CRM-Salesforce skills
Proficient in pipeline management and forecasting
Solid negotiation skills
Track record of high close ratio
Previous experience working within a data/software vendor, Exchange, or trading firm
