Primary features/job Description
- Accountable for preserving and upgrading present RPGIV, ILE, free form and CL applications on the iSeries, in addition to sq. Procedures
- Studies and document business regulations and data integrity embedded in existing RPG and CL packages
- Expand new commercial enterprise packages to meet the desires of various departments
- Create interface programs between hobby foyer and outdoor business partners
- Prepare all suitable consumer and technical documentation for assigned development tasks
- Paintings with DBA to develop new database tables and modify existing database tables
- Offer end-person production help for in-house developed and bought software along with after hours help scheduled on a rotating foundation with different builders
- Coordinate task implementations with DBA, system administrator and technical help
- Use various tools to automate and agenda approaches on the iSeries
- Keep and software applications using various IBM and 1/3 celebration improvement gear
Required qualifications
- Strong programming abilties in CL, RPGIV, ILE, free shape and square
- Know-how of database fundamentals, which includes triggers, referential integrity and saved procedures
- Potential to research and report system flows in current systems
- Strong interpersonal and verbal exchange abilities; capable of training users in complex subjects, making displays to an inner target market and interacting positively with management, commercial enterprise partners and software program companies
