We are seeking a Market Distribution Planner to execute the local business distribution strategy and is accountable for timely fulfilment of customer demand. You will actively review short/medium term sales forecast/order book and stock availability to meet customer deadlines. Where the retail demand exceeds the product supply, you will create allocation flow plans, and communicate clearly to the business. This role also requires the successful candidate to address sales and customer Service stock queries to maintain excellent flow of stock to trade.

Responsibilities

Short term supply visibility – S&OE

Analyse out of stock on order book and forecast and take appropriate actions – 0 to 16 weeks.
Update container delivery tracking.
Analyse and act on short term slippage and conduct delay analysis in order to keep all relevant stakeholders informed.
Track and control inventory transfer execution.
Prepare and communicate availability risks and mitigation plan and execute it
Prepare and present the local SOE Meeting Weekly
Support the Market Supply Distribution Manager in prepare and delivering the Regional SOE Meeting Weekly
Support the Market Supply Distribution Manager in prepare and delivering the Global SOE Meeting Weekly

Allocation & Reservation Management

Define next month’s item list, allocation rules and quantity split.
Create and maintain allocation templates.
Run Risk and Ops allocation review.
Execute allocation and releases in SAP.
Update and set up stock reservations to secure inventories for specific Sales or Marketing operations.

Medium- and long-term availability – S&OP

Medium- and long-term inventory projection – S&OP 

Analyse mid/long term inventory projection risk and challenges vs. FC and financial budget – 4 to 12 months. 
Prepare and present monthly inventory risk analysis vs. FC – 4 to 12 months. 
Execute agreed action plan to mitigate inventory exposure. 
Partner with the Global Planning team in providing the regional perspective in the global SOP/IBP process. 

Inventory transfer from DC to DC

Analyse and execute STO transfer between warehouses.
Collaborate closely with the DC teams to ensure transfer success. 

Inventory Management

Monitor inventory heath trough the KPI set globally. 
Ensure clear glidepath for slow mover and obsolete stocks to Excess and Closeout Plan and standardize implementation of the plan.

Excess Management

Support and provide the Ops technical expertise for the local and EU Excess and closeout process in partnership with Sales team.
Report and instruct PO cancellation at vendor.
Follow-up execution on cancelled Purchasing Orders
Review, animate and execute decision about raw material and FG excess inventory at vendor.

MOQ Management

Analyse MOQ constrains.
Report and animate MOQ constrained process to influence Demand changes / product cancellations.

General

Pilot the local airfreight budget and request to mitigate supply delays.
Collaborate closely with Demand, Customer Collaboration, Marketing and Sales on agreed schedules to ensure all business needs are met.
Support local business by working closely with Sales in defining the short-term action plan to maximize Order Book confirmation.
Prepare and deliver local business meetings as required.
Partner with the Logistics teams to project the logistic and transport capacity (4 – 12 months)
Collaborate closely with Market Supply Distribution, Demand, Customer Collaboration, Marketing and Sales on agreed schedules to ensure all business needs are met.
Provide support to the Market Supply Distribution teams on the out-of-stock analysis and forecasting processes.

Competencies

Good levels of numeracy and literacy with a minimum of business school (HHX or similar) education
Minimum of 3 years Planning experience, supporting initiatives, and driving change
Excellent Excel skills – and the ability to learn new packages.
Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
A highly organized individual who pays close attention to detail
Approachable, flexible to changing situations with an enthusiastic and proactive manner.
