What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Alternatives Client Marketing Manager?

Lead the development and execution of an overall alternatives promotional strategy to support the Business and Sales goals and priorities.

Establish and track alternatives marketing KPIs that measure the success of marketing campaigns and marketing activities, producing regular reporting in partnership with EMEA Digital Marketing Lead.

Develops and helps implement marketing campaigns and content based on client and market insights and understanding the firm-wide and regional objectives and positioning.

Creates, adapts and deploys global and regional content and campaigns for the local market in partnership with EMEA Marketing, and secures all necessary approvals on content, and other marketing outputs, including Product, Legal, Compliance, and others on a case-by-case basis.

Develop and maintain a library of email templates leveraged by sales.

Develops and conducts regional alternatives focused event plans, in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders and contributes to regional event projects where alternatives are incorporated.

Work closely with social media team to ensure consistent presence of alternatives content.

Meet with global alternatives client marketing colleagues to share insights and develop best practices.

Work with internal marketing teams, such as Creative Services, web team, digital marketing and external vendors on production and planning for alternatives marketing campaigns and collateral.

Lead the coordination of quarterly product webcasts and partner with internal teams on promotion of educational and thematic webcasts.

Engage in sales leads development while refining and improving the identification and sharing process.

Execute other projects and special marketing assignments, as necessary.

What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in mass communication or marketing.

Demonstrated success in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.

Knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Strong understanding of the asset and wealth management ecosystem within EMEA, including key buyers and influencers.

5+ years in product marketing and/or client marketing roles, preferably in asset management.

Fluent in English.
