Aetna is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contact Center Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, part-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing essential support to our customers. As a Contact Center Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive high-quality service and information regarding their health plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to incoming customer inquiries through multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with understanding their health insurance benefits, resolving issues, and providing information regarding claims and policy details.
  • Document customer interactions clearly and accurately in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Perform follow-ups with clients as needed, ensuring timely and thorough responses to their concerns.
  • Identify trends in customer inquiries and feedback, reporting insights to management for potential process improvements.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record to support the availability and reliability of the contact center operations.
  • Engage in continuous learning about Aetna products and services to enhance your ability to assist customers effectively.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in customer service or a call center environment preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer support role.

  • Reliable: Strong work ethic and punctuality; maintain consistent availability and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Resourceful: Ability to problem-solve and navigate challenges independently while utilizing available resources.

Soft Skills:
