Job Summary:

Aetna is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our remote team as a Virtual Assistant. In this role, you will provide clinical support and patient care management through virtual platforms, ensuring high-quality healthcare services to our members. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual patient assessments and provide clinical guidance.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
Assist with medication management and reconciliation.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Utilize telehealth technologies effectively to enhance patient care delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of residence.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
Proficiency in telehealth and virtual care platforms.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Experience:

2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a virtual or telehealth setting.

Working Hours:

Full-time position with flexible working hours.
May require occasional evening or weekend shifts based on patient needs.
