Job Description
Support network and customer enquiries in a timely manner by following internal procedures and by using the Project Cargo Pricing Tool.
Pricing may include all modes of transport, but focus is on all type of ocean freight (Container-, RoRo-, MPP-Carriers).
Quoting will also include a variety of pricing such as arranging origin / destination trucking and some other BreakBulk common services with approved service providers. (road permits, crating, lifting, surveying etc.).
During execution to control and steer PES related communication between districts, customer, carriers, and service providers.
Work closely with PES oversea teams to cover all aspects of any international project proposal and execution.
Work on service provider and carrier relationships.
At a later stage, be involved in customer development activities together with sales and/or account management.
Support internal PES European team communication requirements and attend internal meetings as required.
Continuously explore commercial and operational improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
Must: Solid forwarding working experience and education. Experience in ocean freight pricing.
Helpful: Proficient with Project Cargo related experience, especially in quoting over-dimensional loads via land, barge, ocean (and air) modes of transport. Furthermore, knowledge in cargo crating, storage, brokerage, and transport insurance would be of advantage.
Of advantage: Knowledge of road permits, import/export regulations, applications and procedures including surveys and any other governmental regulations applicable for OOG cargo.
Of advantage: Established network of contacts with service providers, port operation and carriers in the region.
Diplomacy and commercial awareness.
Geographic and political understanding.
Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
Fluent in English
