Description:

Desktop Support Engineer is urgently sought to join a dynamic Financial services customer. As Desktop Support Engineer will work alongside other team members within a challenging environment. You will be expected to provide effective & timely support for corporate desktop users including trade desks.

You will be joining a high performing team responsible for deployment & support of systems & ensure seamless operations across the business. Your ability to work & communicate at all levels including senior management is critical.

Provide desktop support to internal users.
Respond to customer requests & troubleshoot calls through various channels (ticketing system, email, phone, in-person).
Blend of BAU & Project
Configure & deliver end-user PC desktop hardware, software, & peripherals within a Windows 10/11 environment.
Disaster Recovery testing – & maintain site assets, including thin clients.
maintain a shared knowledge database.
Desk moves & PC hardware setup.

Skills & Experience Required:

Full expertise in MS Office products
Proven experience in deploying & supporting Windows 10/11 desktop systems.
At least 3 years’ experience in diagnosing hardware/software problems.
VMware & Citrix.
Windows AD administration.
Experience with video conferencing software & equipment.
SCCM / other client management tools.
Knowledge of network protocols & troubleshooting.
Basic administration experience with Mobile Iron.
Bloomberg Professional
troubleshooting Cisco phones.
