Waste Management Data Entry Jobs Work From Home

This is a permanent post with SDC which is currently funded by the English Severn & Wye Regional Flood and Coastal Committee.  With funding currently confirmed until March 2027.  For a person with the right skills and experience a secondment from their current place of employment would also be considered for a fixed term of 2 years.

We are looking for a Project Officer who has the skills and qualities to build on the success of the project and have the vision to develop it further and contribute to securing its long-term future.  Training will be provided for the person with the right transferable skills.

– experience of working with community groups and in partnership with other stakeholders including landowners, statutory agencies and NGO’s
– the ability to communicate effectively across a range of media and audiences
– a passion for rural development and environmental protection
– an understanding of the principles of Natural Flood Management/RSuDS
– experience of environmental project delivery 
– Experience of delivering NFM projects is desirable
