Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant coding guidelines, regulations, and insurance requirements.

- Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically or through traditional paper methods.
- Follow up on submitted claims and manage denials or rejections to maximize reimbursement.
- Stay updated with industry changes, coding guidelines, and medical billing regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a work from home setting.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
