Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fulfill medication orders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-specific medication needs are met.
- Perform prescription data entry, including patient information, medication names, and dosages.
- Utilize technology platforms to access patient profiles, review medication histories, and maintain documentation.
- Conduct medication inventory management, including stock rotation and expiration date checks.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff and customers regarding medication inquiries and usage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
- Valid state pharmacy technician license.
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Proficient in pharmacy software systems and technology platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently from a remote location.
